Sun, 7 Jul DAY Creswick Forest in late Autumn. Starting and finishing at Lake St George. Walking on part of the Goldfields track through pine plantations and La Gerche Forest. On our return we walk in the gardens of Melb Uni Agriculture Campus. E/M 14 km
Thu, 11 Jul DAY Plenty River and Morang Wetlands. Travel by Metro to Mernda. Explore Plenty Gorge Park with its abundant wildlife, Carome Homestead (1864), Morang Wetlands and Le Page Homestead (1850's). There's river vistas and wetlands scenes to enjoy for most of the walk. Large mobs of eastern grey kangaroos. The walk ends at Middle Gorge station (Mernda line). E/M 12 km
Sat, 13 Jul DAY Highfield - Greensbush circuit. An interesting circular walk from the old Highfield camp. The walk passes through Point Nepean National Park, joining part of the Two Bays walk from Greens Bush onwards. M 19 km
Sun, 14 Jul DAY Portsea and Sorrento walk. Meet behind the Portsea shops car park Melway 156 E 2 at 9.00am. There is a short drive to London Bridge. There will be a car shuffle involved. Walk along Portsea Back Beach. Then on to Sorrento, past the shops. Lunch will be at Sorrento park, then back along footpath to Portsea. M 15 km
Sat, 20 Jul DAY Lerderderg Heritage Track via Green Gully. Starting walk at St Erth Garden, Blackwood. Follow Easter Monday track, Green Gully and back to St Erth via Lerderderg Heritage track. M 15 km
Sat, 17 Aug DAY Silvan Reservoir to Woolrich Lookout. The walk starts at Silvan Reservoir climbing through the forest following Lyrebird Creek to Eagles Nest and Valley Picnic Grounds. A short steep climb through to RJ Hamer Arboretum to Woolrich Lookout. We return to Silvan Reservoir following the undulating Board Track. M 13 km
Sat, 21 Sep DAY Baldry Crossing to Cape Schanck. Beautiful walk via Green's Bush and Bushrangers Bay. Varied terrain and vegetation. Lots of birdlife. Car shuffle. H 18 km

Mon, 2-7 Sep BC Cowan, Berowra and beyond. Expressions of interest for this excellent but challenging base camp. Walkers need to have very strong walking ability and meet requirements of accommodation ( see below) Explore remote parts of the Great North walk ( steep and hard sections). Transport to / from walks by train, taxi, bus. Maybe wildflowers out along the route. Arrival day is Monday 2nd September and departure day is Sunday morning 7th September. H 18 km
